WELCOME
wE ARE GLAD THAT YOU ARE HERE

Thank you for being excited to join and get involved with MWF. You are becoming part of the oldest, largest, and most effective wildlife conservation organization. Our roots trace back to 1936 when hunters, anglers and other conservationists joined landowners to address the loss of Montana’s natural lands, healthy waters and abundant wildlife.

With the vital support of MWF members at the grassroots level, MWF leads the way to conserve wildlife and wild places in Montana. Your donation supports the work that MWF does to protect wildlife, habitat, and access. Plus, we’ll amplify your voice when you join the Montana Wildlife Federation. Specifically, donations to MWF help:

    •   MWF represent hunters, anglers and all who support Montana’s wildlife, habitat and access at the local, state, and federal levels

    •   Support our affiliates and their conservation advocacy

    •   Host public education and outreach events

    •   Produce our quarterly publications, social media platforms, and grassroots powerbuilding

Get Involved – Support our efforts and speak up for wildlife by joining MWF, attending an affiliate meeting and signing up to receive our newsletters and actions alerts. Together, we can make an important difference for wildlife conservation in Montana.

NEW! Youth Membership.  We hope that by welcoming youth into Montana’s oldest conservation organization we can empower a new generation to get outside, ask questions, and get involved. To learn more please visit our WELCOME TO THE WILD YOUTH MEMBERSHIP PAGE

Jeff Lukas – MWF Elk Campaign Manager

Jeff Lukas

Conservation Director

Jeff Lukas is a passionate conservationist who has been fishing and hunting his entire life. Whether it’s floating a small stream chasing trout, pursuing elk in the high country, or waiting in a blind for ducks to set their wings, Jeff is always trying to bring more people afield to show them what we are trying to protect. He loves being in the arena, and he will never shy away from conversations about the beautiful and unique corners of Big Sky country.
