Are you a student at the University of Montana who is interested in hunting, but you haven’t had the opportunity to learn?
The Montana Wildlife Federation’s Phil Tawney Hunters Conservation Endowment is sponsoring a new program to introduce students at the University of Montana to hunting. This weekend-long program will help you overcome some of the unknowns and prepare you to hunt for local, free-range meat in an ethical and responsible manner. Registration for the program will begin early fall semester.

To be able to hunt in Montana, participants must complete hunter education. For info on hunter education programs, visit http://fwp.mt.gov/education/hunter/. You can participate in this program without having taken hunter education, but you will need to do so before you hunt.
